climate wow word

WALT:Find the word 'climate' and 'weather' in the dictionary and learn it's meaning. Find the causes and effects of climate change. this week we have been leaning about climate chnage i liststed some facts about climate change like what it is and i made a google drawing. Question: gow would you rate this poat out of 5? REflection: the hardest thing to do was the google drawing and the easiest thing to do was the facts.

We have been doing art this week our art project is mosiac art if you dont know what that is click the link below it will tell you what on is.

It was fun but hard to make i liked it because we could make a mosaic out of everything.

WALT: Make inferences using the clues in the text along with your own experiences to help you figure out what is not directly said. we did infrence cards this week we had to use clues to see what they were doing or why they were doing it and what makes us think that. have you ever done one of these? it was hard to awnser the questions but easy too find what they were doing.

our class wow word this week was idyllic. This was fun because i got to make my happy place but it was hard to make my happy place. what's your happy place?

narrative orientation

this week we did a narrative orientation i`m not sure if the story`s are true or if its the start of the story. 

Reflection: this was fun to answer  the questions but hard to answer them.

me Lucas and one of my best friends Brendon made a game called family food its a quiz you try get the answer right. QUESTION: Whats your favourite food? REFLECTION it was

the letter back from the prime minister.

WALT: Write a thank you letter following a formal letter structure.

on the 22 of may we wrote a letter to Jacinda Ardern and we got a letter back from her were even on the NZ herald the photo is linked so you can go and see us on the NZ herald.

i am at the front of the photo holding the book that we sent her we put a lot of work in too and i'm very supersized that we got a letter back from her this is 

some of the words she's said The Year 5 and 6 pupils were absolutely stoked when they received a letter back from the Prime Minister, saying she appreciated their kind words and would "keep the book close to my desk so I can have a peek into it every now and then".

Reflection: it was amazing to get a letter back from the prime mister.

Through out this week we have been learning different camera shots in class we have put them all on to a google slide here is the slide.

Intro: First i had to find photos and put them on to the slide while i was doing that Brendon was doing the writing were the photos are.

WOW word tripod the first time i used one was last year.

QUESTION: have you ever used a tripod?

REFLECTION: The best thing about using a tripod is that when you take a video using it it stays still.

WALT:create an acrostic poem using positive personalty traits. First we had to take a photo of ourselves then we had to find the letters of our name On the internet. then right sentence using the letters of our name at the start of every sentence. REFLECTION: I enjoyed writing the sentences about myself and making my photo a PNG image. QUESTION: What are your personality traits? and have you ever made a acrostic poem?
